The Red Lion Public House, High Street, Avebury, Wiltshire

Built as a farmhouse, the Red Lion dates from the late 16th century and early 17th century. Constructed in rendered sarsen stone and with some part timber-framing, it is covered with a thatch roof. A large wing was added to the rear in the 20th century. It is Listed Grade II.
