It is not confirmed that the film of A Soldier of Fortune survives as of now, but fortunately, the SP album with the recorded commentary on A Soldier of Fortune, which was released at the time, still exists. A Soldier of Fortune was recorded in Osaka, Japan in September 1930 and released on Columbia Records in April 1931. The commentary was narrated by Kim Yeong-hwan, a popular film narrator at the time, and the song was sung by popular singer Lee Alice. The total running time of the existing "A Soldier of Fortune" SP album is 6 minutes and 38 seconds."
