Artist information: Giovanni Antonio Boltraffio was an Italian High Renaissance painter who worked in the workshop of Leonardo da Vinci. Together with Bernardino Luini he was the most important artist from Leonardo's studio. His major painting of the 1490s is the Resurrection, created in cooperation with Marco d'Oggiono. Marco d'Oggiono (* 1477 in Oggiono, † around 1549 in Milan, Italy). Marco d'Oggiono was an Italian Renaissance artist and one of the most famous pupils of Leonardo da Vinci. Despite being a diligent painter, his works sometimes lack vivacity of feeling and purity of drawing. He executed the Resurrection together with Giovanni Antonio Boltraffio.
