The RIBA moved into its present headquarters in 1934. The building was designed in a Swedish Modernist style by the architect George Grey Wornum, and Miriam Wornum, his wife, was responsible for much of the interior design. The Library remains largely unchanged today and still holds the majority of the RIBA's books collection.
