In this room there are two frescoes, painted by Giovanni Bolla, representing two biblical events in which women proved stronger than men: Judith and Holofernes, Sisara and Jael. This room was originally the Guard Room and Lobby. The small table at the centre in scagliola (plaster inlays) was realised in the 17th century by Simone Setti from Carpi, whereas benches and side tables are signed Francesco Peracchi (1696). Brass chandeliers are the work of Venetian workshops.
