Fragment of a sarcophagus with a sacrificial scene. Victimarius (the sacrificer), bearded and with bare torso, is leading a bullock to the sacrificial ritual. In his right hand he carries the axe for the kill. Behind them we can see the left arm of another person with a raised fist.
Discovered in Tarragona before 1806, the year in which Alexandre de Laborde reproduced it in his "Voyage pittoresque et historique de l’Espagne".
