St. Petersburg is a beautiful, magnificent city, each strucco work here is unique and incredibly beautiful. This year we just get acquainted with the Northern capital, taste it and try to make friends with this stately gentleman in a strict gray coat.
It would have been pure impudence for us to create something new here. That's why we decided to emphasize what St. Petersburg already has and to do it in our own way, but with great respect to the city, its inhabitants and their reverential attitude to all its elements.
Thus, the project "Shadows of the Great" was born. The project about great enlighteners, painted with light and shadow.
Now, when nightfall comes, you can see the shadows of great scientists who left their mark in world and national science. Refracted light of searchlights, designed to illuminate buildings at night, creates shadow portraits of such enlighteners as Karl Baer, Vladimir Dal, Nicholas Miklouho-Maclay and Fyodor Litke on the facade of the Russian Geographical Society.
