The Staff of the Endell Street Military Hospital Group Staff Photograph

Photograph, printed, paper, monochrome, group staff photograph; printed inscriptions in white at the bottom of the image: 'The Staff of the Military Hospital Endell St, WC. (Drs Flora Murray and Louisa Garrett Anderson seated on chairs centre, Anderson with dog, eleven doctors each side of them (no veils, dark lapels); Matron Grace Hale centre behind; Quartermaster Olga Campbell in front row with dog. An accompanying manuscript note by Annie Fox identifies her grandmother Nina Last, sixth from left on the top row, and Nina's sister Barbara, second from left of the row of women dressed in white behind the nurses.
The last woman on the right hand side without a veil is believed to be Eleanor Elizabeth Bourne, an Australian doctor.
Gertrude Dearnley, one of the foundation fellows of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, worked at Endell Street Military Hospital.
