The Statue Of Prince Diponegoro

A statue of Prince Diponegoro stands in the northern plaza of the Medan Merdeka Square provide a significant touch of agility and beauty to the National Monument. The statue is created by an Italian artist Prof. Cobertaldo and donated by the Honorary Consul General to Indonesia, Mr. Mario Pitto, as a token of appreciation and gratitude, and his personal admiration towards Indonesia.
