The fresco, placed in one of the bricked up doors of the Room of Night and Day, seems to allude to the quiet of the life in villa with the representation of two children with fruits in the foreground. The background figures, instead, can be arguably identify with persons related to the Buonarroti family: the man with the dress of the Knights of Malta may in fact be Francesco Buonarroti, while, the telescope would reflects the interest for the new Galileo’s discoveries.
