The Suffragette Omnibus, March 1908. The image depicts a Suffragette identified as Barbara Ayrton on the bottom step of the omnibus hired by the Women's Social and Political Union to promote meetings and demonstrations. The omnibus, seen here draped in posters and banners including one printed with details of the Albert Hall meeting held on 19th March 1908 travelled through London filled with Suffragettes distributing flyers and selling Votes for Women newspapers.
