The symbolic ‘friendship bridge’

The symbolic ‘friendship bridge’, the ‘Kummersteg’ that used to link the parts of the city on the left and right banks after Saarbrücken was destroyed in the war has spanned the river Saar between the neighbouring French and German municipalities of Klein- and Großblittersdorf since 1964.
