This volume contains four of The Tales of Beatrix Potter: The Tale of Peter Rabbit, 1903, 1st edition, 6th printing; The Tale of Benjamin Bunny, 1904, 1st edition, 1st or 2nd printing; The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin, c.1904/5; and The Tale of Two Bad Mice, 1904, 1st edition, 1st or 2nd printing. The book belonged to Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and was given to her by her aunt Hyacinth, and her young cousin Mary, when she was four years old. This copy was read to Prince Charles, the Queen Mother’s grandson, in the royal nursery.
