Carnatic music is a part of the culture of millions of Indians around the world. Many practicing musicians, dancers and art lovers, consider Lalgudi G Jayaraman's compositons as the perfect amalgamation of melody and subtle rhythmic intricacies. One of Lalgudi G Jayaraman's most famous compositions, the 'Sindhubhairavi Thillana', was first composed for Bharatnatyam dance repertoire in the 1970s, and soon became an integral part of vocal and instrumental music. It is now an iconic, instantly recognisable melody.

This music video pays tribute to the genius of Lalgudi G Jayaraman. He has influenced the youngest students and the most world-renowned artists. He is remembered by an incredible body of compositions he has left behind, and the distinguished artists he has mentored over the years.
