Rebecca Horn's The Three Graces presents three cup-shaped vessels of differing sizes in a vertical column. A blue fluid drips from the top through the middle to the bottom, and is recycled. This seemingly closed circle is both a mechanical model of hydrodynamics, and a metaphor for the dependence of life on water, a particularly poignant issue in New Mexico.
