The "Titans" Jardinière

The composition of the vase is attributed to Albert Carrier-Belleuse, ornamental sculptor of the second half of the nineteenth century, which Rodin works in his studio on several occasions between 1864 and 1882. The modelling of four stout and their poses michelangelesques led scholars to propose Rodin as the main author of the base.
