The trajectory of Tara's Arctic drift

Driven by winds and currents, Tara drifted with the ice pack at an average speed of 10 kilometers per 24 hours. At the North Pole, prevailing winds pushed Tara, locked in the ice, from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic.
