The tribune, Portico of Glory

The apocalyptic narration interpreted by Master Mateo arrives to its final part in the tribune of the cathedral, located exactly over the Portico of Glory. Positioned in the central nave and backwards to the altar, we see the great oculus that should have been in front of the big rose window of the outer façade. Accompanied by two other smaller lobed oculus, all three permitted the entrance of light and that the sacred spaced remained illuminated permanently.
