This unique piece of applied art was named after the statuary of Venera, an analogue of the famous painting “The Birth of Venus” by Botticelli. Unfortunately, the statuary which was originally placed on the fireplace is now lost. The fireplace is the only one in the world. It was manufactured in Russia by the masters of the Russian Emperor in the well-known factory of Bronislav Lisovski in Vitebsk. Initially placed in the building of Football Federation of Abkhazia, which previously belonged to German Graf Oldenburg was discovered by the researcher Vano Jakhua in 2014. It was soon replaced in the Art Palace of Georgia with the patronage of Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia, Ministry of Economics and Sustainable Development, Ministry of Justice and Georgian Football Federation. The unique restoration project was financed by mobile communication provider in Georgia Geocell.
