The warship 'Eendracht' on the right is the main motif of this important pen painting. The ship is seen on the port side, just ready for departure - only the topsails are lifted and catch wind. With both the Dutch flag and pennant in top, the 'Eendracht' is the flagship of the fleet. There is a small sloop alongside and a boyer just emerges from behind the ship. This boyer may be an admiralty yacht because of the pennant. In the foreground on the left two sloops are sailing towards the 'Eendracht'. The sloop closest to the viewer carries Van Wassenaer's coat of arms on the stern. The dimensions
(wxh) of this painting are 174 x 112 cm.
