A fragment of frescoes of the Palace in Samarkand, which was belong to the Ikhshid dynasty, who ruled in the 7th-8th centuries. The remains of the Palace were found by archaeologists in 1965. The wall includes several compositions. On the South wall is a wedding celebration, the Northern part of the scene of a battle with predatory animals. The wall behind the Royal throne depicts the reception of foreign ambassadors from China, Chach and East Turkestan. The exhibit will be partially restored. .
