The Westhorpe Way, was written by poet, Dean Parkin, in response to comments collected from residents living in the village of Westhorpe, Suffolk. This was part of our rural arts programme, Make, Do & Friends.
Make, Do & Friends delivered creative workshops and events in villages in Mid-Suffolk and Babergh, providing the opportunity to share and learn new skills whilst enjoying a cuppa with friends and neighbours. In times of social distancing, we adapted to deliver activities online, in the post and through outdoor interventions when restrictions allowed.
