As part of Avery Gagliano's prize package for winning first place at the 10th National Chopin PIano Competition, the Chopin Foundation scheduled as many concert dates as possible during the covid-19 pandemic. The cash award for the first prize at the 2020 competition was $100,000 - which at the time was the hightest award of any such competition in the US. Lady Blanka Rosenstiel wishes it could be one million dollars which she believes is what these incredibly talented, very hard working musicians deserve. In addition, Avery also received a recording project on the Steinway Label and appears on November 30, 2021 at Carnegie Hall. The world will be watching as 4 of the National CHopin Piano Competition finalists participate in the 18th International Fryderyk Chopin Competition in Warsaw, Poland - October 3-20, 2021.
