The world of change

Zoe Martin and Wendy Rees have a shared interest in nature, landscapes, trees and the environment. Their project initiated from exploring Constable’s ‘The Hay Wain’ and developed into reconstructing art works and compositions, derived from their sketches and workshops around details in nature. Through their evolving friendship and as artist collaborators, they have grown a mutual trust in the process of reconstructing their art as one.

Step Up was our inclusive professional development programme for visual artists in Suffolk. Artists worked together in pairs, as equals, to: explore creativity; produce new works of art inspired by each others’ practice; develop new support networks; and benefit from artistic and professional development.
