It has been reported that palm tree has about 2600 kinds. With fan-shape that many leaves come out of one stem like today's palm, it usually inhabit the tropical and subtropical regions as a kind of angiosperms. It has been mainly found at green river formation which has deposited and formed in the lake of Wyoming, Colorado and Utah region in US approximately 50 million years ago.
