  • Inscriptions: Artist's inscription, signature, and 2 seals: Thin forest and distant mountains have always attracted me; As if they were from the brush and ink of Ni Tsan, left behind by the master in this mortal world. Now that the quiet recluse has chosen to live in the South of the City. He paints the spring breeze---over a curve of the river. In the spring day of the wu-ch'en year [1628] I made this painting and attached an old poem. Li Liu-fang [seals] Li Liu-fang-yin; Chang-heng shih. trans. WKH 1 additional seal of Chung Wen-ming (17th c.).
