Thorsteinn Gíslason, telegraphist and station master.

One of Iceland's first telegraphists. He was the first native of Iceland to become station master in 1926. Thorstein was an ardent enthusiast about wireless technology and constructed the first wireless transmitter in Iceland and conducted the first wireless transmitions there.
