Three colummns carved on marbleof the Portico of Glory

Only Three columns, in the first order, were carved on marble. These were ornamented with vegetable elements accompanied by a different kind of scenes. The first one of them is situated in the right side of the left arch, it possessed zoomorphic representations; the second one in the middle arch, in it´s left side, contained genesis scenes; The last one of them, in the right side of the middle arch has images of the resurrection of the dead.
