This three-legged cauldron with a long handle is the most sublime and elaborate of the bronze vessels excavated from Geumgwanchong (Gold Crown Tomb) in Gyeongju. Three long legs with hoof-shaped feet are attached to the rounded body. The rim around the body is flared, like an ordinary cauldron, and the lid is embossed with lotus flower petals. The cauldron features two amazing dragon head designs: the spout is shaped like a dragon head, while the end of the handle is bent and layered to form another dragon. These two dragon heads are not only unique, but also quite realistic. The dragon at the spout seems to be biting into the rim of the cauldron, while the one at the end of the handle appears to be holding beautiful vine leaves in its mouth.
