This is a matching pair of cabinets for women. The third tier is designed to be detached and carried. The red lacquer and nickel ornaments harmonize with the mother-of-pearl inlay which forms patterns including ten longevity symbols, flowers, birds, and landscapes with a pavilion. The entire front side is inlaid with mother-of-pearl using such techniques as jureumjil cut patterns and kkeneumjil pieces cut in long fine lines.
