These women are identified on the reverse of the photograph as (left to right) Mrs. Baker, her sister, Lily Pendleton Harding (Tsitwats), and Addie Cushingway. At the time the photo was taken the three were residents of the Warm Springs Indian Reservation in north-central Oregon. The women at left and right are holding beaded flat bags while the woman at center is holding a twined cornhusk bag.
