<time machine> is a zoetrope (animation toy utilizing optical illusion) inspired by the process of ‘territorialization-deterritorialization-reterritorialization’ of Deleuze and Guattari the theory of ‘movement-image’. This work uses 3D printer, BLDC Servo motor, step motor for 15 rotating wheels, and LED lights for optical illusion of time movement and time image. Rotating plate rotates one round per second, LED lights flicker 15 times per second, giving the experience of optical illusion that objects on the rotating plate move. However, the audience can see the time itself which has continuous movement while breaking the rules of zoetrope for optical illusion.
