Tipai (Water pitcher storage)

A metal stand with three legs to place water pots is known as tipai. Tipai literally means three legs; teen- three, pai- legs. It is made generally to hold only one pot or pitcher of water. The space at the bottom, formed by the framework in this example, was used to keep washed containers for drying.
