Titles of Swiss newspapers writing about the unveiling ceremony of the Polish Freedom Column (choice)

The local and non-local Swiss press wrote widely about the unveiling of the Bar Column. J.A. Konopka in his publication devoted to the “Beginnings of the Polish Museum in Rapperswil according to the Swiss press (1868-1897)” counted over 30 titles from 2002.
Extensive article Die Enthüllung des Polendenkmals appeared on the first page in the Rapperwil’s “Wochenblatt vom Seebezirk und Gaster” dated 19 August. Shortly after the unveiling of the monument, this event was also described in: “Der Bund” in subsequent releases from 18, 19, 20 and 21 August (Vom Polenfest in Rapperswyl), “St.Galler-Zeitung” dated 18 August (Die Enthüllung des Polendenkmals in Rapperschwyl) and “Neues Tagblatt aus der östlichen Schweiz” from the same day.
