In 1957, this portable recorder debuted at the German Industrial Fair in Hanover. It became the top-selling unit of the leading tape recorder manufacturer, Grundig. The tape could be run in both directions and rewinding was thus no longer necessary. Tape speeds of 9.5 and 19 cm / sec could be selected. A trick button allowed a second recording to be added. It sold for DM 965.
