To measure of a window was produced during the 2020 period of quarantine, when many countries around the world went into lockdown to tackle the spread of Covid-19. It’s a personal response to crisis, uncertainty, and altered states of being.

  • Artist biography: Massiel's work is the final result of a creative and very personal process, realized starting from self-knowledge, from a research as artistic as identity, from what she calls mental transit, that is the idealization of so many people she finds in herself. In her work she analyses the barrier of the body, which is defeated by the ability of different techniques to deal with themes such as social and gender identity, through transit or movement. Massiel Leza (Madrid 1990) after a law degree, she graduated in Photography, Painting and Visual Arts at the Department of Fine Arts of the University Distrital Francisco José de Caldas of Bogotá-Colombia, then she studied at the Department of DAMS of the University of Bologna through the Erasmus program, she is currently attending the Two-year Specialist Course of Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna.
