Toki. Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from toka (stone). Grey-brown in colour. Triangular in cross-section. Sharp cutting edge. Steep bevel. Raised sides. Front of the blade is flat and highly polished. Raised shoulder. From shoulder reduced to the butt. Overall surface treatment is highly polished.
