This detailed drawing shows the top floor office in the roof space of the Pugin family's house at Store Street, to which they moved in 1819. The use of perspective suggests the drawing might have been made as an exercise in architectural drawing. The Pugins moved out of Store Street in 1823 and into a larger house in Great Russell Street. The drawing was made by A. C. Pugin, with possible additions by A. W. N. Pugin.
