Torah shield (Tas)

Silver object with cutouts and arabesque motifs; ornate background with floral, phytomorphic and bird motifs. In the center, a niche with a door for keeping a small representation of the Torah with inscription in Hebrew, decorated border with organic cutouts flanked by two columns; at the bottom, two deer and, at the top, a protruding crown flanked by two bursting lions; in the background, two birds. At the top edge, three rings from where a chain is attached for fixing it. The ornamental pieces are fixed by nuts and bolts.
