Established in the 1890s in Kenton, Ohio, the Kenton Hardware Company produced locks, hardware, and toys. Cast-iron toy stoves quickly became a mainstay of the company's toy selection. Popular models included the "Daisy," "Beauty," "National," and the "Royal" line. By the 1930s, Kenton surpassed Hubley and Arcade, two giants in the cast-iron toy stove industry, in the diversity of types and styles of stoves offered. This ornately embossed Kenton "Triumph" range has six burners and a reservoir, a decorative, detachable backpiece, and a working damper.
