Medusae of the so called Ediacaran fauna, which was worldwide widespread between 620 and 550 million years ago. Fossils of this faunal association, belonging to over 100 different species, are represented by the imprints of organisms mostly radially symmetrical, rarely bilateral, among which can be recognized some medusoid-shaped marks, sometimes provided of structures interpretable as tentacles or internal organs (Giancarlo Ligabue Foundation Collection).
