There were a number of trade cards that, in an effort to sell a product, used political subjects and satire. Here various presidential and vice presidential candidates are enjoying a beer. Lockwood is restricted to the role of a bar maid, and is seen handing a drink to Prohibition Party nominee, Clinton Fisk. The satire is compounded not only by Fisk's position but also by the fact that Lockwood was a strong advocate of Temperance and had many friends in the movement.
