Nils Christes ballet 'Translucent Tones' is based on Béla Bartok’s ‘Concerto for Piano No. 3’. Similar to the music, it consists of three parts. The dancers are dressed in pastel colored costumes. In each of the three parts, however, one color dominates. The first part is colored yellow, and the ballet is playful. In the second part, the mood changes and becomes more composed, while the color blue takes over. The ballet ends in passionate red.
