A travel bag from the deportations. The first trains for Auschwitz left Hungary on 29-30 April 1944, transporting the prisoners from the Kistarcsa and Bácstopolya (Backa Topola, Serbia) detention camps. According to some estimates, 437 thousand persecuted Jews were deported by 147 trains during 56 days.
