The heavy-duty leather of this travel bag made it the perfect luggage for travelling by train. This example is highly decorated and rendered feminine with polychrome floral and foliage motifs in a tapestry weave. It was embroidered with the owner’s initials in order to make it more easily identifiable when travelling.
