A painting by Eugen Burkert, a landscape painter strongly associated with Lower Silesia. He mainly painted views of the region, although he also went on a series of study trips around Germany. This painting shows an impressionistic view of a country footbridge over a stream surrounded by chestnut trees. The work, through a vibrating color spot, reflects the transience of the moment and the constant movement of nature.
