His painting Tribute to Postman Cheval portrays Postman Cheval and the three giants, following his concert in 2009. In the foreground, the mustachioed man wears his cap pressed down on his head and his rural postman's uniform. The lines are hard, the skin is rosy, and a single line is sufficient to depict his eyebrows. His neck is thin and his head is high. With a pensive gaze, he seems to be watching the three imposing giants who approach over green earth. They were named by Postman Cheval as "Caesar, the great Roman conqueror, Vercingétorix, the great defender of Gaul, Archimedes, the great Greek scholar." The architect also inscribed on his monument, "I have placed the saga of the humble creatures bent by their labor under the watch of the three giants." Cast by the setting sun, the giants' shadows are traced on the ground. Finally, as is to symbolize the postman's constant process of reflection, clouds emerge from his cap and float up behind the three giants. Having been pulled out of a dream, they are now free to traverse the world and make people aware of their architect.
