As the name suggests, this tripe bowl was used for making black pudding and sausages after pig slaughters. Made at the Muel workshops (Zaragoza) in the second half of the 18th century, this ceramic container has thick walls, a white tin-glaze, and two-tone blue, bajo cubierta decoration, where color is applied direct to the item and then a transparent layer or glaze is added on top. The base features a female figure and an inscription referring to the woman who must be the owner, Orosia Díez. The inside walls are decorated with plant motifs reminiscent of artichokes and leaves.
