Tub-type washing machine

This wooden tub-type washing machine from Miele is electrically powered and has no heating. In terms of design, the machine does not differ much from non-electric washing machines. The tub contains a paddle assembly that stirs the wash in the tub during washing. The motor is mounted on the pedestal, which also has three wheels underneath.
