The Kapelletjewas designed by Louis Kalff, who designed the Evoluon in Eindhoven among other things, and was one of the first designer products from Philips.The radio has an Arbolite cabinet, a black base plate with legs, and a Bakelite ornament with stars and waves in front of the speaker.It can receive medium wave and long wave signals.There are four antenna connections on the back, labelled one to four, an earth connection, and a gramophone jack.
